A summary of my poetry in-print in 2022

My sestina, Strong Men, Carrying Horses, appeared in Poetry Ireland Review 137. Issue 235 of Stand magazine, December 2022, included two of my poems: Seven Pool Players Walk To The Bar Of The Golden Shovel After Foucault’s Pendulum, and Wake Up, Stand Up and Fly, Blackbird, Fly – a Grenfell poem. ‘Stand has been a fixture on the British and world literary scene since 1952’.

The Snowball of Thanatos, about the handle of my suitcase full of text books breaking while travelling to university, appeared in the Live Canon Anthology 2022.

Two poems, The Straight Line of the Bulldozer, and The Map of the Fractured World, about my school’s demolition, appeared in the Axis issue of Abridged, a Northern Ireland publication.

The Seed of the Future Uprising, appeared in The Wasteland at 100 issue of Abridged.

Carving Hearts, a poem about a chance meeting with a local man who knew all about the ecology of Salisbury Plain, appeared in Spelt 7 magazine.

Many thanks for reading my success story and best wishes for 2023.
